GAZ Group presents at the international bus show Busworld Russia buses for urban and suburban transport services: GAZ Kursor — middle-class low-floor bus of Likino Bus Plant, and vector NEXT - small class bus from Pavlovo Bus Plant, as well as its configuration "School bus".

Low-floor middle class bus Kursor is designed to work on routes with low and medium traffic and adapted for the passengers with limited mobility. The vehicle is equipped with a four-cylinder diesel engine YAMZ-530, power of 210 HP, ecological standard Euro-5, automatic transmission and is designed for transportation of 75 passengers, including 18 seats. Due to the length of 9.5 m high maneuverability of the bus is provided retaining all the transport characteristics of a large class. The exterior and interior, the driver's compartment are designed in accordance with international standards on comfort and ergonomics. Low floor provides a comfortable getting on and off, reducing the route travel time, electronic air suspension control feature allows to raise and lower the bus to overcome the most complicated sections. The vehicle is also equipped with kneeling system (inclination of the body at the side of the door at 7°), a mechanical ramp, CCTV, fire-fighting system and a digital tachograph.

Small class bus Vector NEXT - a new generation of multifunctional buses, built on the chassis of the medium duty vehicle GAZon NEXT. The project is a continuation of the flagship product range NEXT of GAZ Group. In designing of the new model world-class best technical solutions as well as advanced materials and components have been used. Vector NEXT is equipped with a new diesel engine YaMZ-534 of ecological class Euro 5. Upgraded chassis GAZon NEXT provides bus mobility on roads with different coating and off-road. Accuracy and informativeness of control are achieved due to integrated ZF steering mechanism, GAZ upgraded transmission, increased torque transfer in the gearbox, Sachs clutch with air to oil intensifier. Thanks to the new front axle with increased angle of rotation of wheels the bus has excellent maneuverability. Pneumatic brake system with ventilated disk brake mechanisms of front and rear wheels and ABS provide reliable bus slowdown in all road conditions, and traction control system (ASR) greatly simplifies the control on wet roads or in other conditions of insufficient adhesion with road surface.

In the newest range of busses Vector NEXT a great attention is paid to ensure the convenience and comfort of passengers and driver. Bus, designed for transportation of 43 up to 53 passengers, received improved ergonomics of the driver's seat, split air-conditioning system and enhanced noise insulation. It is also equipped with electronic route display and running line with information about the route.

School bus modification of Vector NEXT is equipped with a diesel engine YaMZ of ecological standard Euro-5 with an increased payload capacity up to 110 kW. Comfortable passenger compartment can accommodate up to 25 passengers and one attendant. The bus is equipped with a high-performance brake system with pneumatic actuator from Wabco, as well as electronic systems ABS, ASR and EBD, allowing the driver to keep control of the vehicle when emergency braking. The braking system has high reliability, ensures short braking distance and a small force on the brake pedal, thanks to the pneumatic actuator.

All school buses of GAZ Group conform to GOST R 51160-98, applied to buses for the transport of children. Seats are equipped with special safety belts. Buses are equipped with racks for school bags, additional sliding step, emergency buttons, external and internal speakers, built-in speed limiter up to 60 km/h, door control devices (the vehicle machine does not move when the doors are open), heated rear view mirrors and a device which activates the audible signal when reversing.

Busworld is world's largest exhibition of buses, showing the various kinds of buses (urban, tourist, minibuses), as well as bus components and related products and services.
